18-22k for UGA, Auburn, Ole Miss, Florida. 1410 4.15 private school. Did not get into VT or UVA iN State. Not top 30%, knew she wouldnot get in. WL clemson. Going to UGA. Full pay and would have gone anywhere without merit; the merit seems really common at these schools among her peers. More like a standard discount for average-excellent kids.

This is not true for all schools. Some schools do freeze tuition. And some schools will increase aid. Just make sure you find out before committing.

Which schools increase merit aid year by year?

Your kid’s list looks a lot like my kid’s. Can you tell me their stats and where they chose to go?

Amtrak easy peasy from DC to Philly. We think this is a great deal for small class sizes, mid-sized (6k) students in a city.

St. Joe’s is a great value. Hope your child loves it.

Do you recall what the total all-in price would have been per year at all of these schools? And what did DC choose?

Anyone willing to share how much merit colleges offered your child? We’re on the hunt, I’m curious what kind of offers the latest class got!
