Yes they are possible.

Arts programs are all about talent in their field. . For filmmaking Their portfolio, film samples, writing samples, work done related to filmmaking and recommendations from someone in the field are hat matters.

They don’t care more about about a math or science grade. A 3.0 GPA is fine as long as you got the talent in your specialty.

Rutgers has an excellent program for filmmaking.

Depending on what B stands for. B is a wide range from 2.8 to 3.7. OP may be on the higher end of B range.

B means average B, UW~3.0

Wants to go into filmmaking or advertising. B student, dyslexic, strong extracurriculars and strong portfolio.

Reaches, but worth trying with portfolio: USC. UCLA. NYU.

Others: Syracuse, Ithaca, Chapman, SCAD, Emerson, would like to add one more.
