Not really (though one is about that - the infamous 1984 cheerleader murder). It's more adult women who get caught up with backstabbing (literally) friend groups or enter into ill-fated love triangles.

I wish all those young girls knew just how clownish they look with those cheap fake eyelashes.

Fans of binge-watching crime shows - you're welcome. I just discovered Mean Girl Murders on MAX. It's a bit cheesy with low production value (I think it originally aired on ID channel), but it's addictive. It's all about infighting in somewhat trashy cliques and tawdry social dramas in small towns, with the end result being murder most foul!
