Universities have a lot of cushy administrative jobs like you are seeking but they are also laying off to some extent.
Local government could also be an option.
All types of organizations hire administrative/executive assistants. Could this be an option for you?

Restaurant manager. Not that hard. You get to exercise, talk to people, and they feed you.
I'm doing it very part time just to be able to get out and fund a Roth IRA.

American Red Cross. Great mission. Great people. Not too corporate (like the Y, that place was off the charts corporate. Yuck)

Possibly even if you aren’t religious - some of the people with office type jobs at our synagogue aren’t Jewish

I was RIF’ed from a job that was challenging, important, but also stressful and took up all my time. I’m sad but need a break from the past few months and also lucky enough to be able to look for something lower key now.
I’m thinking about something like an office position at a private school. Somewhere where part of the work is being professional and being nice to people, but also not a full customer service job where the people may be annoyed about things regularly (and not retail).
Do you all have other ideas of jobs like this? Maybe at a museum? I’m sure these types of jobs are hard to come by and competition is fierce.
I have led multiple teams, have experience managing large budgets, IT projects, etc etc, but I’m not looking for that now. I just want to make a little money and have some structure to my day. TIA!
