No way. The 2021 transaction was not arms length. It might have been estate related or something but the stairs and the kitchen clearly come from the same 90's renovation.

It is not to my taste overall, but I must say the Turkmen carpets are all really nice!

It's a dated, modern remodel.

other than the light fixtures and bannisters, it seems like a modern updating/ desire for streamlined, minimalist interior. It's not terrible (except the bannisters and hanging lights).

At least they kept the radiators.

I mean, this is just a testament to how if the inside doesn't match the outside, you're going to really, really feel the two periods clashing later on.

But it's a good renovation that was done really well. I bet they partied. It's just of its moment. They wanted to put a new house in an old envelope and that's what they did. But now one is middle aged. So you have to either undo it, or find someone who likes both and can deal with the strange marriage.
