Lame.

Yeah that sounds lame. Like what is it, scribblings on some paper sack?

You have been cursed by your own stupidity. In order to undo this curse, you need to make a donation in excess of what they request and purchase a copy of Street Sense (https://streetsensemedia.org/) within 30 days, or else. Good luck.

They have a street address in Washington, DC.

What kind of smarts do you think of yourself? What have others said about you?

Too many to list here.
Basically knowing how to identify scams, cons, hustles etc. and how to perform them yourself to get by if times are tight.
How to prevent getting mugged, protect yourself, and realizing you are on your own out there.
Knowing who runs what neighborhoods, who their soldiers are, and how to grease palms without offending.
Knowing what gov officials are on the take and which are honest and will roll you up.
Being good at blending in in various locations, and going from street to chic and back to street on the fly.
Knowing which areas to avoid, and which you can find harbor in.
Etc.

Get off your dang phones and pay attention to what is going on around you!
If you carry a purse put it around your neck (crossbody) and have it in front of you.
Stop leaving items in your car.
At the gas station, lock your doors when you get out to pump gas.
Ladies, put your purse under the seat especially if you have your windows open. If you are at a stop light it would be easy for someone to reach in and grab if it's on the seat.
If on the train and someone seems to be a bit "off", wait until next stop and go to another car.
Stand back when waiting for train. Don't allow a crazy to easily push you or for some lose clothing item to get stuck as train goes speeding by (I wish the trains would slow down before entering the platform area-didn't they used to do this?) My DD saw this happen to someone in NYC, she said it was horrific!
Get off your dang phones and pay attention to your surroundings! Did I already mention that? Yeah, get off your phones!!!!

Sure - crazy person harassing teenage girls and making them scared to pass on the sidewalk. Homeless person stealing food from a farmer's market stall and being defensive about it.

I walk in a way that acknowledges others in my neighborhood. And know when to ignore someone. Like some people you freeze out others you make eye contact with. Sometimes to let them know they are seen so they don’t mess with you, mostly to acknowledge their humanity. This includes the unhoused. Most are good people in tough circumstances, some are dangerously past being helped.

If you have people in your neighborhood that you see often and do this they’ll look out for you too.

Also walking at night. Pay attention to your surroundings. This is not when to check a text or listen to music. Head gently on swivel. As a woman I also tend to walk in the middle of the sidewalk or close to the street, noticing what’s around me. Get an uber or taxi if you’ve been drinking.

Know where you are. Learn how to notice patterns. Don’t expect you’re safe, don’t be afraid you’re in danger.

Idk. I wouldn’t say I’m street smart though. Was single a long time and out late often. Stayed safe. Must have been doing something right.

Street smarts is knowing how to navigate mass transit, not put down/turn away from your belongings in public, know how to de-escalate, know how to interact with homeless people, remember to lock your doors always, etc.
