No, it was not a slap in the face to the school system.

It was a victory for parent rights. Why should children have to be exposed to concepts that are not age appropriate? What is wrong with allowing parents to opt their kids out of such instruction?

But what if the AFABs feel unwelcome being grouped with AMABs (because of the latter’s physical sex characteristics and their history of bad acts towards AFABs)? Is it okay for the AFABs to be unwelcome as long as the AMABs who feel like AFABs maintain good cheer?

Too many parents opted out, so MoCo removed the optout.
