Western ridge, boundary bridge, pinehurst branch trail, valley trail - wooded dirt trails. Great for hot days when you want to have a break from direct sun. These trails can be busy mid to late afternoon and tend to have a lot of dogs - on and off leash. Boundary bridge and valley trail especially.

It’s all nice but really, it’s much nicer for walking in the winter.

Some portions along Beach drive were closed off and could still be closed. Good area for walking you don't encounter as many dogs and since you can walk on the road (Beach) it's an easy walk while still getting to enjoy nature.

I would say a lot of places you will encounter off leash dogs. We lived near Mount Pleasant and that section always had off leash dogs.

Not sure the actual name but there’s a trail near the Soapstone Valley that is nice but isn’t all just walking. There are some rocky areas you need to go over but it’s not challenging. I do it with kids.

What are the best areas for walking within the park? Areas to avoid because it's generally closed off, nature makes it impassable, or areas that you often encounter dogs?
