Those goals feel a little empty calorie when I have watched him play. I am honestly a little shocked at his current form.

Like most sports accolades it tends to be a popularity contest which Mbappe would obviously win and I'm a Mbappe fan. Even with his goal total last season I think he's at that point where he needs to add another element to his game. The speed, predictable cut back and snap shot is getting snuffed out by the keepers and defenders a lot more.
