Magnesium glycinate but give at dinner time. Perfect for winding down the evening and not being tired in AM.

If your kid can swallow a caspule, Pure Encapsulations Magnesium Glyicinate is well tolerated and great for relaxing body and mind for sleep. I would give a 10 year old one 100mg capsule.

so many types and dosing is confusing! Mary Ruth is a good brand but my big 10 year old may need more than the kids gummy. I have no idea what would be best for calming/good sleep. any help appreciated! trying to take advantage of the Amazon prime deals.
