One of the main factors in defining a genocide is intent. Israel's leaders have made hundreds of genocidal statements which the Western media has largely failed to report on. They said exactly what they would do.

Holding a press briefing where you discuss an operational plan for a concentration camp and ethnic cleansing I think one could safely say confirms genocidal intent.
