Some leagues that play in the spring play right up through first week of June. So final list of qualifies teams isn't known until then. Then they have a draw to put the them into pools. Then you have to assign games, fields, times, etc. Now multiple this by six for each age group. Now multiply by two as has to be done for both boys and girls.
Not to mention some of the people working on it are part time or volunteering and it's not the only thing they do. There really isn't a need to have the brackets done early other than satisfying annoying entitled Karens.
^^^Agree. It was well known the days of play and when we would need to arrive and be on-site. Only missing thing was the who the team was was playing and times. Not a big deal having gone through this a few times before.
To get the level of service that some people want would mean tournaments would cost even more money to hire more staff and have better online tools and apps. How do we think increased tournament fees would go over?
