For tie dye our team always does the actual tie dying after practice. Do most teams do this?

It's nice that the coaches do the themes. Prom made for some neat photos. I don't do the cheezy prop themes. It's not a movie, and they don't carry my size at the thrift store, so bah humbug. (I also don't do Halloween for a similar reason, why don't they make xlt costumes, sigh)

Hawaiian/Beach is a favorite in my house. Superhero is a close second.

I liked it when an opposing team did a zoo theme. Lots of fun animal costumes/blankets/onesies. Even a blow up orangutan.

Neon is easy. My boys hate the Prom theme.

I like blast from the past. It’s a little unnerving that the 90s count though

Even thrift store prom jackets and dresses would be 15-20 bucks. Which is a lot for a throw away swim meet theme day.

I like the ones where everyone has the stuff already. Like team tie dyes team shirts on Wednesday and that Saturday theme is tie dye. Or red white and blue for 4th of July.

I also don’t have time to get my kids “prom” themed clothes from a thrift store.

It seems like one of the favorite things about summer swim is the different themes each week at A Meets (and sometime B Meets).

What have been some of the best themes you have seen on your team or other teams during the summer?
