I don't understand why you're saying that. AP National Scholar just requires a 4 or higher on at least 8 exams and an average of at least 4 across all exams -- where does it say that you have to have taken 8 of them by 2020 if you are in the 2023 graduating class? My read is that if you took 8 exams your sophmore and junior year (which lots of WJ kids do) and got 4s on all of them, you would qualify.
