Oddly in the early 2000's we had a pretty decent Council. Carol Schwartz, David Cantania, Vincent Grey, Jim Graham, and Adrian Fenty were all serious people. Jack Evans wasn't the most ethical politician, but he was at least a sensible voice on the council. Now it's a clown show.

I mean, no one in Ward 3 particularly likes him and he's accomplished next to nothing, but it's extremely difficult to dislodge a Council incumbent because of a variety of reasons (voter apathy, too many opponents splitting the vote, etc.). If there were one viable opponent already announced who had scared away other challengers, I could see it. But not if it's Frumin vs. like six other people.
