I have a bad knee, so we bring a metal-framed folding chair like this - the kind you would use on a deck or patio.

Both of these options sit much higher.

My elderly parents with mobility issues have luck with this type of chair. It’s sturdy and the seat sits at a height that makes getting up and down easy. I have no experience with it in sand, however.

My mom is coming with us to the beach and I’m looking for a beach chair for her. She can’t get in and out of the typical low beach chair and while I do have a folding camping chair but if there is anything else that might be steadier, let me know. Thanks!
