Can't book one room with 5 people at Jumeriah. Really wish people would respond with relevant info to specific questions (not OP).

And it costs big bucks.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Kensington. 2 bedroom suite. Was a 5-10 minute walk to tube but it was a great tube station with lines that went basically everyplace.

Thank you to those who shared suggestions! And I wish the poster who described a good place would have shared the name. I found a couple of two bedroom suites at hotels that seemed good but they never came up when I went to the booking page. Maybe they’re not available for our dates. Will explore the suggestions given.

We stayed at this one by the Chelsea football ground. It's a short walk to Fulham Broadway tube. We also caught buses from there or nearby Kings Rd and it was a very scenic ride past Kensington, Westminster, Trafalgar Square etc.

Lots of restaurants nearby. The lower price might justify the slightly longer trip. The rooms were big compared to places where you need to squeeze between the bed and the wall.

OP, if I knew you in person I’d share our hotel with you but I don’t want it to be searchable online and then be booked up all the time by the online travel crazies. But if you look hard, there are major hotel brands with rooms that sleep that many, usually in 2 fulls or queens plus a sleeper sofa. You might have to bend slightly on location. We were right by a tube, but not as central as you mention. We were still only a 15 minute ride to most places.

Does not appear to have availability for 5 people in 1 room.

We want to be very close to a Tube station and tourist attractions, maybe Westminister or Kensington area. Any suggestions? Plumguide? Suites at hotels? Would appreciate suggestions!
