I like top open buns, and grill them on the sides.

My toppings: mustard, onion and sour kraut

I also have relish, ketchup, Dijon mustard, chick fila sauce on hand for kids. I love a super grilled/slightly black hotdog.

They have the best buns in maine too - i remember the snappers, they have a unique texture too. The color as an adult is a bit nuclear: https://www.wmtw.com/article/maine-red-hot-dog-fda-ban-red-3-dye-red-snappers/63458998

My favorite hot dog is 5 Guys with cheese, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and BBQ sauce.

Don't knock it until you try it.

Other than that, a traditional NYC cart dog - mustard, relish, and kraut.

This made me crave a Kayem dog we get when in New England. We get the traditional version but there’s something about that “snap “.

Nathan's hands down, charcoal grilled or cut down the middle and pan fried in some butter with sauerkraut. Now I'm hungry.

Ballpark 100% beef.

I'm good with mustard and relish but wouldn't turn down a Sonora dog if offered one.

What's your favorite store brand?
And what toppings do you like?

I am in the mood for a great hot dog tomorrow. And I want to jazz it up a bit.
