Communities have private gates
Houses are more expensive in “safe” areas
Guns are more expensive if they kill more people per second.
Police officers don’t get paid that much, but will get paid more in wealthier areas (probably for doing less actual work)
Yes, there is a price on safety.
The biggest price is when you pay for it in the rights and liberties of other people.
