A word to the wise.

Adaptive models in computer programming used to be called just that, until "Artificial Intelligence" took off in the popular imagination, with it's generative capabilities (ability to create new content). Now everything is called AI, regardless of the actual degree of "generative" in the system. Sometimes it's still the same old adaptive, but now it's fancy and frou-frou (and ten times as expensive) because the name as changed!

So... don't worry too much about it. There have always been errors in computer programs and users have always been indispensable in pointing them out. Just call it out when you see an error.

And... a little internet search tells you that Edmentum, while trying to market itself as using generative AI, is actually mostly using adaptive methods.
