That’s soccer wire. Topdrawer featured my dd and she didn’t even have a profile.

While I think that can be true, quite a few that I’ve seen highlighted and who we know are legit ballers with a promising future.

How many were highlighted 6-10 years ago that are legit professional ballers today?

No one is claiming the soccer players highlighted go pro. Chill. But my kid was highlighted for doing well at an event and then a college soccer coach followed their X account. I don’t think it’s worthless. And many of the kids you see highlighted do tend to be the better performers (maybe 30% of them that are highlighted).

Let me guess. You then signed up for their premium subscription? That’s their business model. Highlight random players who get excited because a coach follows them on X so they buy a subscription.

PP was responding to "legit ballers with a promising future"

Why is it crazy to ask how many featured from the past went pro?

Like yscofficial, footyaccess, top drawer, etc.? I think there’s even dmvsoccerofficial for this area.

Are they considered soccer-specific news sites? Are they scouts? Or do they get paid to promote clubs and players?

They're all run by teenagers or guys in their younger 20's. DS knows a few of them.

Like everyone on social media they are trying to promote their businesses in order to build a following and make money.

So the business is monetizing social media?

Propaganda machines if you're in-network

I really have no idea what that means. In-network for what? Can you explain a bit more please?
