OP here. We ended up giving her $900 (our ATM limit is $800 and we had $100 lying around). Thanks all!

She’s not expecting anything. $500 is very generous.

I’d want to retain her for the 4 month sleep regression.

No advice on bonus amount specifically, just keep that at the back of your mind when considering amounts.

$500 would be generous if you can afford it.

$500 is fair, $1000 if she was really exceptional

OP here - $500 to $1000 was the rough range I was thinking. Anyone else? Any dissenters?

(PS - if you're considering a night nanny DO IT! Especially if it's not your first kid - it's the best money I've ever spent in my life)

Our baby is sleeping through the night, and we're ready to say goodbye to our beloved night nanny. She's been with us since he was two weeks old (he's now 14 weeks, so three months) and has been such a godsend. We got her through an agency. We pay $39 per hour, so $312 a night, 4 nights a week, though my understanding is that she only gets $26 an hour, as the agency gets a pretty big cut. It was a big stretch for our budget, but totally worth every penny.

We'd like to give her a cash bonus on her last night. How much of a bonus would you give her?
