I think they try to do the most running around outside early in the day and they take lots of breaks and the boys go inside where there is AC. Every outdoor camp will be hot in late July. They all manage.

When my son did these I used to pick him up when they break for lunch and call it a day when it was really hot. Half day was bearable. Full day camps were rough and even he hated it by the end of the week.

Yes, they melt. There will be plenty of water breaks but it will be miserable. I hope you have access to a pool to get them to right away.

All: I signed up my seven year old son for the Next Level lacrosse camp at the Heights the week of July 28. I'm now second guessing this decision - I feel like it's going to be miserably HOT. Does anyone know if they do anything besides full-pads lacrosse at this camp? Do the boys just melt every afternoon?
