Subject: What to do with 13 yo all summer
It is late, but I would try to find a volunteer job as on your neighborhood of being able to water plants, feed a cat and change litter with your oversight. Or if there is a group that is looking for younger teens to do a task.
Look through volunteer web sites or with GroupMe to see what might be available.
No way first he have the behaviors to hinting beach and hang out on his own .

I’d let him do the lake thing sometimes but you go with him, even if you don’t sit close to him.
Do you work or are you available to drive him places?
I don’t work in the summer. I can take him places. He’s less interested in just hanging out with me than he was in the past. But, there aren’t many other options.

My Ds is 13 with ADHD, anxiety and ODD. He has one friend and that kid is away a lot in the summer. He doesn’t game online with other kids.
I have no idea what to do with him all summer. Camps never really work out. He wants to go hang out at a lake beach near us without me. I’m not thrilled with the idea because there is a lot of bad behavior by kids his age down there. He also went once and was bullied. He at an age where he wants to be social, but he doesn’t have many friends.
I have no idea what to do with him all summer. Any suggestions are appreciated.
