I guess I’m the only one who doesn’t think this is tacky. I would love it if parents did this. Especially for the younger kids where you may not know what the birthday child likes.

Also, evite does force you to have a link to Amazon gift ideas if you don’t pay for their premium service so it may just have been that.

Did they actually include it in the evite? Or was it the generic age based one that evite will put in and not let you remove (for ad revenue) if you don't pay for the subscription?

Worse if she involved her kid. If they sat together picking out toys they want people to buy them that’s the start of greed for the child if he hasn’t already learned it.

Ha, I have never seen that before. It's super tacky though I'm sympathetic to not wanting a big influx of toys that your kid will be interested in for all of 3 days.
