Were you able to find any teams or have interest in any? I am on the same boat and looking to join next Spring. I called and spoke to VIVA and looks like they are in need for boys still for 2017 in spring.

Contact VIVA. They seem to be holding tryouts.

2017s are always welcome in most clubs as those boys are just starting off. HYS, Loudoun East or GFR would welcome more numbers at that age group

VIVA or PAC will likely have space. VIVA practices once a week over the summer and starts back up with regular practices in August. Lots of Falls Church families in both of these clubs.

Most clubs are expecting interest from 2017 (rising U9) kids over the summer as families who were either not familiar with travel soccer, or find out their child's rec team is going to be very different because the top kids are playing travel, start to reach out. Just make some calls or send some emails.

Check VIVA (Villarreal Virginia). They are in Falls Church/Annandale and probably could use more 2017 boys.

Always room somewhere. PAC is in falls church, which would be closest. Can also check Villarreal in Annandale.
