Wondering because The Post one is behind a paywall but I did do the BBB calc a few weeks ago. However, I don't trust any data or info that comes our of this Admin that is so allergic to all truth and facts.

This one doesn’t let me select MD as an option. When I put in DC it says I pay more with BBB. But it’s so simplistic that it cannot give any realistic answer. It has no information about types of income, deductions, credits etc.

note how OP went away now that they are benefiting.

You know who isn't benefiting? All the people making under $240,000.

Add the "Trump Tariff Tax" and you have a whole new regressive tax regime.

I came out with +12k and was like WTF? And then I started reading the reasons for my tAx “cut” and ran the other calculators and realized +12k means 12k less in taxes (extra take home), not 12k more in taxes. I think the calculator is counterintuitive and should just say “you
save/pay extra). Is it possible you are making the same assumption I was— getting a positive tax number and assuming it meant more taxes.

Very poorly designed. I also couldn’t adjust it to VA or MD. Which— come on. If you won’t give us all the state and least make it work for the DMV.

Ah you are right, it is poorly designed. End rant. I have been through tax bill changes many times before, but never saw such a crazy change. I thought it was extreme that my coworker had to pay 5k in extra taxes with changes to SALT during Trump's initial tax cuts (and remember how stressed she was about it).

That happened to me. It's part of being wealthier than average.

MAGAs, justify this nonsense or I will be going ape if this passes. WTAF???????

The tax cuts are for billionaires. If you wanted tax relief for under $400k income, you should have voted for Harris and a Democratic majority Congress.

Given that, your other option would have been to become a billionaire. Have you considered doing that PP?

Trumps tax cut are just locked in. The bill keeps the cuts that people have been paying. So there will be no noticeable difference unless your income has changed.

I voted for Harris. I am still looking for the MAGA justification as they are here, reading thus, and also getting hit with these taxes. And this IS the party of hatred of taxes, so trying to understand what the actual eff they are saying on this one.

Pp. Ha! Good luck. MAGA never shows up on threads with inconvenient facts. They prefer to blubber on about Sharia in NYC and what a badass Trump is for rounding up brown Americans.

MAGA doesn’t care about you. The rich are getting their tax cuts and that’s all that matters.
