Oldest DD took my youngest DD. Youngest is a big kpop fan.
They were in the 200s and had an overhang to block a lot of the sun, so that helped tremendously. Oldest DD said she was also good about constantly making sure youngest was staying hydrated. Youngest is a T1D, so dehydration can cause her blood sugar to spike. She was allowed to carry a larger, non-clear bag in because it qualifies as medical supplies. She had juice boxes and some water in it as well as snacks. However, the concession nearest their section ran out of ice first and then ran out of water a bit later. That's inexcusable, IMO. I'm taking my sons to the Savannah Bananas gave tomorrow evening, so I hope they've figured out their failures by then.
Oldest DD's good friend lives in a condo next to Nats park, so she invited them over to cool down and rehydrate after the show. Youngest DD had a blast and oldest DD said she had fun as well.
As someone above said, oldest DD was wondering why they didn't tell them no pyrotechnics because even in the 200s, they could feel the heat blast whoosh up each time they went off. Oldest said she doesn't think they would have survived had they been in GA or even a section that didn't have an overhang to block some of the sun.
