Libs finally getting the SNL treatment.

The right is tough and can take verbal abuse. The left breaks down and whines

MAGA can’t even take being called “weird”.

Wanting discourse to be adult and respectful isn’t the same thing as whining. You’re framing it that way because you want so badly to feel powerful and libs to feel owned, when in fact they’re either laughing at your childishness or just shrugging and walking away.

I’m a 5th grade teacher. I spend so much time teaching work ethic, kindness, respect, and civil discourse. Every time I hear him speak, I think of my students, current and former. He is so incredibly rude to everyone who doesn’t bend the knee. It’s unbelievable, and I think we are underestimating the effect this has on our kids. Whether we want him to be or not, he is setting an example for our kids. No matter what those kids or family members say or think of him, the fact remains. We have taught our kids that you can be so incredibly vile and still rise to the top.

People try to justify not caring about this by saying that his personality doesn’t matter and has nothing to do with his politics and leadership. This is someone whose words and actions can literally start a war. Of course it matters.

Our kids have been through a lot. Due to internet and social media, they face challenges and influences that are beyond our comprehension. We need to do better at electing and elevating leaders who are the type of adults we want our kids to be.

If THIS boorish, bullying action didn't lose him supporters, there's no hope.

Ok. Got it. Verbal abuse should be the national dialogue. This is how Americans are now. We’re abusive, cussing trailer trash. Look out world, here we come.

But also, they can dish it but not take it. Biden doddering out something insulting them, they are livid, foaming at the mouth, blind with rafe. But a racist story about Haitians eating pets? Hiring a comic to tell racist jokes at Trump's MSG rally? Sorry, you cannot tell me MAGAs are tough.

Just evening up decades of leftist media/entertainment dominance at a record pace. It's amazing.

We are talking about the behavior of the actual POTUS and whether or not that is role model behavior. (spoiler alert: it isn't).

So you’re saying “MSM” is replaced. With exactly what?

Don’t thank someone for humiliating and insulting you. They just need to stop showing up for him. Let him talk to his maga reporters/echo chamber.

They are worried that they will be fired for telling the truth, but if that’s the case, what good is the press?

Honesty, you can’t trust any press that has passed Little Lord Donnie’s loyalty test, so anyone that wants to be taken seriously is going to have to risk some blowback.

I have never been able to overlook the way he talks. Also such racist language, he sows divisiveness worse than anyone. The fake, racist Haitian eating dogs story coupled with the hiring of a comic to tell racist jokes as the opening for his MSG rally. I cannot understand overlooking that nor excusing that. I also frankly, notice that people who are able to overlook at do not have many friends of different colors or ethnic backgrounds, anecdotally speaking. Makes it easy to overlook, I guess, when he isn't insulting people you care about?

PP here. Maybe he’ll be like the Wayne Knight character in Jurassic Park— he’s going around screwing people thinking he has the upper hand, but eventually he’ll screw up, stumble down the hill and meet the venomous dinosaur.

+1

It’s sad that this is who a large swath of the country admired and elevated to the presidency. I guess he hasn’t insulted the wrong people yet?
