Good riddance. The survey had a purpose many years ago. Now schools spend a small fortune in resources that would be better spent on teaching and keeping tuition down to figure out how to game the system. The system which is constantly slightly tweaked because having the rankings the same every year wouldn't drive revenue.

Then so many people, as demonstrated here, get completely obsessed when the difference between #34 and #35 is absolutely nothing.

I wish these rankings would go away.

I attended college before Best Colleges was available as a resource. I really wish that I had more information available to me when applying to college.
