China is a mixed bag, the plug could be Type A, Type C or Type I. Definitely bring an adapter for the plug. You can buy very small ones on amazon that just fit right into the plug and lie almost flat. You can bring a universal one to be safe but they are bigger and bulkier. Whether or not you need a voltage converter depends on what appliances or electronics you are briging

Going for work; just in major cities. Do they have US plugs or plugs for electonic devices everywhere or do I need to lug an adapter/converter with me.
