Agree on moby dick’s.

I like the TJ roasted garlic humus better than most restaurants.

I made pitas once and they are surprisingly easy and so delicious fresh. I think I used the once upon a chef recipe. I keep meaning to do it again. For restaurant, I guess Leb Tav.

I've only had it from the food truck, but Fava Pot has great hummus.

Zatinya brings those hot pitas to the table which is fun.

For grocery store hummus, the Trader Joe's Mediterranean style is good. There's one hummus at Trader Joe's that is terrible.

I have tried this hummus multiple times because so many people rave, but I just don’t like it.

I love Perfect Pita hummus, and the pitas are good when fresh but I think the ones sold in Whole Foods have been frozen and thawed and aren’t as good.

Best pita in the area is Moti's in Rockville . Hummus and techina also very delish .

I’d love to hear which pitas and hummus do you think are best in the DC area (I’d prefer Bethesda/Chevy Chase/Upper NW but will travel for the best). Can be from a grocery store, small market, restaurant.
