Second the Palace. Good location and reasonable on pricing. Very luxe.

Or you could go for the Plaza or the Ritz.

Like the Soho Grande (no spa) for feel/vibe. Even at a high price point some nyc hotels will feel a little tired. The Soho grande is, a little, but I still enjoy it and love the bar.

A lush hotel? Most places will have bars, don’t worry.

Gansevoort (Meatpacking district) has a rooftop pool. No spa in house but Maison Sisley is basically across the street and I think you get a discount for being a hotel guest.

I think seeking out a “luxe lush hotel” in NYC is bound to be a disappointment… it’s a major city not a spa. I think pick the nicest hotel in the area you want to be it. if you’re looking for a spa go to a smaller locale.

Girlfriend and I are headed to NYC this October for a long weekend (right between our milestone birthday!). Want to stay in a luxe, lush hotel with a spa preferably, midtown or below. Seeking any and all recommendations for great eats and drinks. TIA!
