My DH sometimes mows just the areas that have had some growth (for example, under a tree) to neaten things up.

Lawn is small, and will take 5-10 minutes max. I was sincerely asking about what's good for the lawn. I don't love the weather, but I'll deal and am outside every day. No need to be an aggressive idiot.

No, it's good for when it's not raining much. Bad for when it's very wet.

Actually, our lawn company has told us that keeping the grass tall is better in the heat.

During "drought" not "heat".
Taller grass is for keeping in moisture to prevent the need to water as much.

Your health is more important than the grass.

I did not mow today. I do not think it will grow much this week and a bit long is good in the heat

I would leave it until the end of the week then mow at like 7 am.

Why didn’t you mow yesterday? Lots of rainy days this week. It will get messy by the next wkd
