Pace has been virtual since Covid and never went back. total waste of money now and OP says she wants an organized group not text-I assume that also includes not wanting to zoom.

Pace is back in person....

But I did virtual for both my kids ( second time around group is still virtual) and both my groups meet weekly in person when everyone is on maternity leave

But it’s not though. The website still says hybrid-4 in person, 4 virtual for the first time mom group. So half of the meetings are still virtual. No.

PP above— I should note that even though our group of neighborhood parents was not an organization, we did end up having some set organized weekly and annual events. It was awesome.

Are you part of a church or have you considered joining one? Some have moms groups.

Do any of your neighbors have kids—maybe even ones you’ve never spoken to? They may be looking for fellow mom, too. One of the best things that ever happened to me is a neighbor I’d never met just walking up to my house to suggest we get our toddlers together. We’d both been in the neighborhood for several years, before having babies, and had never met. By about 6 months later we’d just kind of picked up a group of parents and kids in our wider neighborhood and became really close. Maybe you could be the friendly mom in your neighborhood to get the ball rolling.

I live in Burtonsville but the moms group I joined when DD was 8 mos waved my sanity.
Try Moms Club International and see if there’s a chapter in your area. This is how I started bif then we sort of disbanded and made a new group with less rules.
If there isn’t one, look at baby story times at the library, go to those. You might meet a mom you connect with.

I’m a new mom with a 10 month old in Kensington MD. I have been trying to connect with other moms on peanut and on Facebook but it seems like most are just wanting to chat over text, etc. I’m looking for a more organized group, even at cost, where I can meet other moms and connect on our experience, seek advise, support each other, walk, get coffee or beer once in a while. Something a bit more engaging and active. None of my friends are parents so it’s been really hard and isolating. Any recommendations? Thank you!
