What is your coloring, OP? Maybe at home IPL is right for you. It was amazing for me (I have the Braun SilkExpert Pro 5).

Yeah it does. I wouldn't want to be waxing anyone's nether regions for even close to that much.

Waxing is a great con. The biggest con is when you add on smaller spots. I can sort of see the salons needing to charge some minimum amount for a small area, because it takes 15 minutes of time (taking into account check out, prepping the room etc) and a special room whether it’s a small job or big job. But when you’re already back in the room getting a bikini wax and you add, say, your lip and it’s exactly two strips and 45 seconds of time, and they add $30 or whatever.
This is why I learned at a very young age (and with a lot of body hair) to learn how to wax myself at home. It’s quicker, cheaper, and usually more accurate.

I don’t get these regularly, but recently did at my neighborhood nail salon (not a fancy place) and it was $45 without tip. The whole thing took 10 minutes and I was surprised at the cost- is this the going rate? If it is, it is but just want to know if I should look elsewhere next time.
