Why are you mixing coffee grounds with fats?

Or are you allowing fats to drain into your sink? Why on earth would anyone do something so stupid?

Are you that clueless? I'll just let you spin then.

Didn't know anything about coffee and cholesterol. But always use paper filters as it's easier for clean up.

Interesting! Also getting the gold filter clean takes a ton of rinsing/wasted water. those coffee grounds really stick to the filter

I just got a new automatic drip coffee maker. It comes with a built in filter but the directions mention that you can also use paper filters.

Is one better than the other (obviously the paper inserts cost money, but not much). Why use both?
