If money is not an issue, Columbia hands down. If 80K per year means a lot to my family, would to to WashU.

+1. WashU beats many Ivy schools in my eyes.

WashU. Take the money; Columbia won't recover any time soon.

Columbia has lost a lot of credibility and is definitely not worth 80k more a year than WashU.
I personally wouldn’t want my kid at Columbia with a bunch of crazy protesting terrorist sympathizers.

Wash U for the money. Otherwise, for me personally, no question Columbia.

Wash U. Your kid can always live in NYC another time (and he’ll have money for it too)

This is a no brainer. Wash U for sure! It has the best of everything one can ask for college education and it’s free!

DS got off the Columbia waitlist over the weekend. He is currently committed to Wash U for Com Sci and Business and has a full academic scholarship. He really likes Wash U. He visited Columbia and liked it as well. Columbia would be $80K a year. We COULD make it make it work with some shuffling on our end. Would appreciate any insightful thoughts on what to do.
