Going forward, are quarter grades going to appear on transcripts? And 9th and 10th semester grades prob aren't going to be recalc based on how she performed in each quarter, right?

Yes, they look at one particular marking period only, one of the many problems with the current CES/magnet lottery process. But OP's child is in high school so that doesn't apply to them.
