My son got his KTN within 3 days of his appointment in Alexandria. He just turned 18 so I’m assuming the background check was short and quick!

My son and husband applied in early May. My son's application moved to approved pending approval within two weeks; interviews at Dulles were available that day. My husband's took maybe a week longer. Did both interviews this weekend (waited until we were going to be out by Dulles for another event) and final approval was given within a couple of hours.

My partner applied about two weeks ago, and his application is still processing. We have a trip next week, so I'm hoping it comes through this week. Website says 3-5 business days, but also that it could take up to 60 days. Any recent experiences on timeline?
