Get backyard chickens if you want to keep plants in check. Let them loose during the day.

Yup. One you realize that all that bare mulch everywhere - every store, office building, so many homes - is being sprayed with herbicide on the regular it is horrifying.

Soil needs a covering of plants unless you are in the desert. That is just the way our ecology works. Choose something, anything, and skip the herbicide.

I guess I disagree. I weed maybe every other month (maybe every 3rd month) and have weed free mulch beds. I do have thick mulch and had to weed a lot when we first moved in.

Yeah but it’s also not fair to say that public spaces could just choose that. Nothing outcompetes everything. Maybe liriope, but it would still get some vines probably and also trash and leaves will build up in there.

I use commercial grade vinegar and it works great. Never never use Round Up.

I'd be furious. Absolutely no pesticide in my property.

What are you defining as a "bad weed"? There are some invasives that need herbicide, plus poison ivy

It's sprayed on corn and wheat crops. Look at how many things you eat with corn, HFCS, grain alcohol, flour, etc.

It's "supposed" to be "less toxic" with each day that passes and with UV exposure. Someone with more lab experience might explain how it is broken down.

"Two-weeks" is the normal response given. What a ubiquitous term right? Everything is "two weeks" in recent years.

Unless he sprayed it on your vegetables it's no big deal. If he did, just wash them well before eating. That's more than what you get in the grocery store has done to them.

In all the beds bc there is a bad weed growing there. How long does this area remain toxic? This isn’t what I wanted him to do he misunderstood me but this is my situation now.
