Zofran can cause horrible constipation though. I use nauzene tablets (I take zepbound) I only had one terrible week. Now after 4 months it’s pretty mild

This. The standard increase is .25 to .5 to 1 to 1.7. Why the big jump? You're meant to work your way up.

Good joke. you know it’s not material from Gila monsters but research on their hormones. Hormones that we also naturally possess. Glps tell our body to amp up those hormones

Make sure you spend a good amount of time at this dose before you increase. If you can, and are losing, stay at this dose for 2-3 months. For me, the constipation became an issue so I used cape aloe tablets. Or drink prune juice. Drink a lot of water. When the sickness was bad for me, it was more like being food poisoned in that my bowels cramped terribly and it would culminate in a bathroom visit. It was not nausea in the typical sense so antinausea meds didn’t help. What helped was 2-3 Advil to stop the cramping and the maybe a dose of pepto. When I increased doses I’d have a bad day or two and be fine. But once I hit the 4th highest dose I was sick. Couldn’t eat at all. Just electrolytes and ensure for calories and by then I’d lost 50 lbs and was within the healthy range so I started tapering back. But truly I couldn’t eat and became gaunt. Some people keep going at that point but it had become a net negative for me.

I didn’t lose any the last month so they upped the dose. Also realized I may have mistyped dosage. Went from lowest dose first month to starting month four now at 1.7. So normal step up. Just no issues until now.

Why the increase if you were losing on the lower dose?

Why up the dose if you were fine and lost 15 pounds?

Been on Wegovy for months, at the highest dose for at least 2, amd no side effects other than losing weight. Everybody, and every body, reacts differently

I spent 8 months on Wegovy and had to be super careful. A couple bites of the wrong thing and it was over. I switched to Zepbound once it was introduced. Huge difference. If you can make it work with your insurance, its side effects are almost nonexistent for me. And I hear that from a lot of people. The second drug they added balances out the nausea and other issues.

I have had the lowest dose for 4 months.
My doctor just upped mine.
Ugh not looking forward to this.
However I have only lost like 4 lbs and I have been thinking this is not worth it.

I’ve been on the lowest does of Wegovy for three months and have lost 15 pounds. My doctor just upped my dose to 1.7 and I took my first shot last night.

I woke up so nauseated and exhausted, with diarrhea. Never threw up but my mouth filled with the awful saliva you get before you do. I had to cancel my kid’s playdate because I felt too weak to drive and wound up lying down for a few hours.

Never experienced side effects on the lower dose and now I’m nervous to continue this level. Does it get better? I’m seriously considering just taking half a dose or going back to 1mg.
