I wouldn't wear sandals at work. At most, I would wear a peep toe pump, depending on the workplace dress code or culture.

If it’s a casual environment and this were my style (it is not - I hate these) yes I would. I’m 65 and I have my own look. I like what I like and I wear it unless it
Violates the rules.

No bare toes at work. None. Never. It's gross. I'm sure you have very lovely pedicured feet but no one at work wants to see them.

I would tend to agree with this.

It's not about trends. These are not appropriate office-wear and I work in an office where people can wear jeans and sneakers.

No, those are definitely weekend wear. If you don't want to wear sneakers, then consider a pair of women's loafers. There are some very cute and comfortable options around.

Not gross, but those are basically flip flops. Way too casual and frankly too expensive for what they are. You could spend that money on a much nicer pair of dress shoes.

What's gross about your toes?

I personally don't care what my coworkers wear on their feet or whether their toes are showing.

Probably not, but would consider it with a maxi dress or pants in a casual environment

I find people like this neurotic. You could say bare toes is unprofessional. But I don’t get the “gross.” People routinely show toes in the summer time in places that serve food and that’s perfectly appropriate.
