My cousins name. Short for Natalia

Besides Talia Shire, I’ve known a Thalia.

I'd ask if it's short for Natalia. I love it.

I think it’s a beautiful name.

The only associations I can think of are weak and they’re to the actress Talia Shire and to the character Talia al Ghul in Batman - The Dark Knight Rises. I don’t think either would be a significant problem for naming a child.

It's a very common Hebrew name. I've known a couple of people named Talia and it's a very pretty name, but there will be an assumption that the family is Jewish and/or Israeli.

I love it, both as a full name of Hebrew origins and as a nickname for Natalia.

I thought it was a verb when I clicked on this. Truly awful as a name. Don’t do this to a child.

I know a now adult Talia. I like it. She went by Tal as she got older. Jewish
