Kids and parents look happy as you drive by and see them through the windshield for a few seconds so the school must be good?

We also met with administrators and parents and staff. Also, having attended several schools, and left a couple, I can tell you that it is in fact a decent metric, combined. The schools that had a bad vibe, you could tell from people walking in and out. Honestly, do you have anything to add or do you just want to criticize the very few people who actually weigh in and discourage others from doing the same.

DP. So, in other words, you don’t have a kid at Sela and never did.

I never said I did. We had enrolled there and did a lot of research. Again, anything to add or just trying to slam those who actually have information to add/

In my experience, getting a new principal can sometimes push teachers to pursue other options if they’ve been on the fence about trying out different opportunities.

OP was talking about teacher and leadership turnover. Not why families stay or leave.

My family likes it, it wasn't a backup for us, and we are only leaving because of getting into middle school for 5th grade. The location and the language make enrollment challenging and I'm sure this last year hasn't helped.

Everyone I know who has had a kid at Sela loved it while they were there, and also left as soon as they got off the waitlist at their IB or the school they'd been hoping to get into all along. Sela has always been a backup option that people are pleasantly surprised by when they show up, not the end game.

Gee, I wonder if anything has been happening in the last year with Israel and the Middle East?

Parent at the school. This end of year seems to have a much much higher turnover than years past.

Anyone have insight?

Many teachers and leadership.
