Fortunately, that is not the America of today or for the foreseeable future. Up to 30 states that have either constitutional carry or shall issue concealed carry laws. National reciprocity legislation is making its way through congress and the Supreme Court will overturn “assault” weapon bans in a term or two.
Sweet - so can we all just walk around with AK47s strapped to our backs like backpacks?

You are delusional. Are you aware that congress and our courts have been corrupted by Trump and will never restrict guns like you have suggested? Are we supposed to be sitting ducks while we wait for your fantasy to play out?

Nope, and that’s when efforts at creating gun control laws began to be more successful. It never occurred to some people that gun rights applied to all of us.
