stay with silver, it is timeless, black looks tacky and like a quick flip from HGTV.

If your window frames are black it is fine/ ok to have silver/nickel etc for the door hardware, bath hardware and plumbing fixtures.

I can't seem to find something that is Chrome on outside and black on inside or is that just literally buying two knobs? The other small issue is the hinges for the doors but those are pretty minimal.

There isn't actually so much hardware in the bedroom. It's only window trim and closet hardware that is black in the bedroom.

I’m renovating part of my home, including my bedroom, bathroom, and powder room. The existing hardware throughout the rest of the house is chrome/silver, but for the new rooms I’m using black hardware for things like plumbing fixtures, windows, tile trim, and cabinet/vanity hardware.

My question is about the transition areas—specifically door knobs, hinges, and other hardware on doors that connect the old and new spaces. What’s the best way to handle these so the finishes don’t clash? Should I match the hardware to the room you’re entering, or stick to one finish for consistency? Should I get a doorknob that is dual tone (or paint one to be that way)? And how should I approach hinges and other smaller pieces?
