Anyone familiar with Plei? It's supposed to be a pickup soccer app. If you're familiar with it, do they allow high schoolers to join in games?

Same. Lewinsville is workable, as is anything in McLean, Arlington, Alexandria

This! My kid plays on a GA team, but I know she would love to just show up on a field and play for fun during the summer. If anyone is organizing something, please let us know day/time/location.

Let’s set it up. There is nothing better than pick up games to learn creativity. Are you anywhere near Lewinsville? I am sure we could get together enough girls and boys for some pick up games during the summer.


Lewinsville is close enough. Mine isn't old enough to drive, so my spouse and I are on the hook to drive. Let us know how we can get connected.

This. Not in DMV, but to stay fit and get touches, DD does training sessions with private trainer - they runs different groups during the AM. Usually a group of other HS or college age girls that are home. Varies a bit, but usually a couple of sessions a week.

There is nothing besides pay to play camps with Next Star and the like. Top girls all have private trainers over the summer.

Echoing this. The heat during Super Y games is unbearable. I think my kid would be interested in indoor futsal, but the only futsal leagues/games I can find ran in the winter and don't seem to run in the summer.
