Some of us have to pay alimony to exes who cheated, so there are many ways in which divorce can be unfair financially but still worth it.

Yes it is truly unfortunate as well as wholly unjust.

However one cannot put a price tag on freedom from abuse…..

There’s nothing worse than having to pay an abusive ex those things just to get your safety back. It feels like on top of everything you endured you have to pay him ransom.
