This is a good example of why I think so much of the left’s anti-Israel stuff is structurally anti-Semitic by the left’s own reasoning. Whatever you think of Mamdani’s claim about how Israel is constituted, if this guy actually had these standards he wouldn’t “recognize” or “be comfortable” recognizing a bunch of other countries which are far more obvious violators of the standards he is claiming to apply to Israel. But these supposed standards are virtually never applied to any country but this one country that happens to be Jewish. Does this guy not “recognize” Saudi Arabia? Qatar? Pakistan? China? Nope they’re all fine. But the Joooz with their tiny little country whose existence insults the egos of its neighbors is a violator of his standards.

He would be an absolute disaster for NYC. He is a “defund the police” fanatic.

I agree that NYC needs police. That said, he isn't wrong that NYPD is wicked and corrupt. It should be dismantled and rebuilt. I am not sure that is a practical solution , though.

Somehow, I hate Cuomo even more. I cannot vote in NYC, but I hope Mamdani keeps him out of office.

He's the only legit contender to the rapey, corrupt and evil Cuomo who's basically funded by the same type of people as Trump.

I’m tired of wealthy and privileged people trying to posture themselves as champions of the working class and poor. How is this guy supposed to relate to the lower classes of NY? He is just another self appointed savior who would drop all pretense the second there was any risk to his personal comfort or status.
